This Privacy Policy explains how Balliram ("we", "us") handles information in the mobile game Food Look (the "App"). The App has no accounts and no sign-in, and we never ask for your name, email address, phone number or contacts. The same policy can be read inside the App under Settings → Privacy Policy.
1. Information stored only on your device
The App saves the following only on your own device. It is never sent to us:
- Your levels, best scores, coins and unlocked characters.
- Your settings: music, sound effects and vibration on/off.
- Which version of this Privacy Policy and the Terms of Use you agreed to.
You can clear your progress with Settings → Reset progress. Uninstalling the App or clearing its data in your device settings deletes all of it.
2. Information we collect
We do not collect, receive or store personal information on our own servers. The game runs entirely on your device; the App uses the internet only to load ads, download its settings and receive notifications (sections 3 and 4).
3. Advertising (Google AdMob)
The App is free and shows ads from Google AdMob, a service of Google LLC: a banner on the home screen, a native ad on the characters screen, full-screen ads between some runs, and optional rewarded videos. To show and measure ads, prevent fraud and improve its services, Google's Mobile Ads SDK may collect and process information such as:
| Data | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Device advertising ID | Ad delivery, frequency capping, measurement and, where allowed, personalised ads |
| IP address and approximate location (derived from IP) | Ad delivery, fraud prevention and regional compliance |
| Device and app information (e.g. model, OS version, language, app version) | Ad delivery, analytics and diagnostics |
| Ad interactions (e.g. views and taps) and diagnostic information | Ad measurement and fraud prevention |
This information is processed by Google under its own policies. Learn more: How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and the Google Privacy Policy. We do not sell your personal information.
Watching a rewarded video (to revive after a crash, triple your score or skip a level) is always optional.
4. Google Firebase (app settings and notifications)
The App uses two Firebase services from Google LLC:
- Cloud Firestore: on start the App downloads a small settings file (for example which ads to show). Nothing about you is uploaded or stored there, but like any internet request Google receives your IP address and basic device information.
- Firebase Cloud Messaging: to send you notifications (for example new games, events or bonus coins), Firebase creates a random registration token for your installation of the App. The token is not linked to your name or contact details. Notifications are optional: you can turn them off at any time in your device settings (Settings → Apps → Food Look → Notifications).
Learn more: Privacy and Security in Firebase.
5. Game engine
The 3D game runs on the Unity engine, entirely on your device. Unity's analytics, crash reporting and other cloud services are turned off in the App, so Unity does not receive data from it.
6. Your choices and consent
- Ad consent: in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, Google's consent message is shown before personalised ads are used. You can change your choice at any time in the App under Settings → Privacy & ad choices.
- Advertising ID: you can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of ad personalisation, in your device settings (on most Android devices: Settings → Google → Ads or Settings → Privacy → Ads).
- US state privacy laws: we do not sell personal information for money. Using an advertising ID for targeted ads may count as "sharing" under some state laws; you can opt out with the advertising ID controls above.
- Notifications: allow or block them when the App asks, or later in your device settings.
- Game data: clear it with Settings → Reset progress, or by uninstalling the App.
7. Permissions the App uses
- Internet and network state: to load ads and the App's settings.
- Notifications (Android 13 and newer): to show push notifications, only if you allow it.
- Advertising ID: used by Google AdMob as described above.
The App does not use your camera, microphone, contacts, photos, files or location.
8. Children's privacy
The App is a general-audience game and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, contact us and we will help address it.
9. Data retention and security
Game data stays on your device until you reset it, clear the App's data or uninstall the App. We hold no data about you, so there is nothing for us to delete. Information collected by Google is kept according to Google's retention policies. A notification token is deleted when you uninstall the App or clear its data. Data the Google Mobile Ads SDK and Firebase send is encrypted in transit.
10. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or the CCPA/CPRA), you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal information, and to object to its processing. As we keep no personal information on our own servers, most requests are handled by Google; you can also contact us and we will help.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. When we do, the App will show you the new version and ask you to agree before you continue playing, and this page will show the new effective date.
