X War Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 4, 2026
This policy explains what information the X War mobile game ("X War", "the app") collects, how it is used and the choices you have. X War is published by Balliram ("we", "us").
- X War does not require an account and we do not collect your name, email or contacts.
- Your game progress is saved only on your device.
- The free version shows ads from Google AdMob, which may use your device's advertising ID.
- Where the law requires it (for example in the EEA and UK), we ask for your consent before showing personalised ads.
- The app uses Google Firebase to load ad settings (Cloud Firestore) and to send push notifications (Firebase Cloud Messaging).
- Notifications are optional; you can turn them off at any time in your device settings.
1. Information stored on your device
The app saves your game progress (levels, cards, currencies, settings and daily reward status) locally on your device. This data is not sent to us and we cannot see it. It is deleted when you uninstall the app, or you can erase it at any time with League → Reset progress.
2. Advertising
X War is free to play and supported by ads served by Google AdMob, including banner ads, ads between battles and optional rewarded videos (for example to revive your squad or double your coins). To deliver, measure and limit the frequency of ads and to prevent fraud, Google may collect and process:
| Data | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Device identifiers, such as the Android advertising ID or iOS IDFA | Advertising, ad measurement, fraud prevention |
| Approximate location derived from your IP address | Showing ads relevant to your region |
| App interactions with ads (views, taps) and diagnostics | Ad delivery, analytics, fraud prevention |
| Device information (model, OS version, language) | Ad delivery and compatibility |
How Google uses this information is described in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and the Google Privacy Policy.
Your choices. If you are in a region where consent is required, the app shows Google's consent form before ads are loaded, and you can choose not to receive personalised ads. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID in your device settings (Android: Settings → Privacy → Ads; iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking). Opting out does not remove ads; they will be less personalised.
3. Google Firebase services
X War uses the following services from Google Firebase, provided by Google LLC. Firebase does not receive your name, email address or any other information that directly identifies you from the app.
| Service | What it does | Data processed |
|---|---|---|
| Cloud Firestore | Loads app configuration from our server, such as which ads are shown, ad placement and frequency settings. The app only reads this configuration; it does not upload your game data to Firestore. | IP address, device and app information (such as OS and app version) that is necessarily included in the network request |
| Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) | Delivers push notifications, such as game news, events, rewards and update reminders. Notifications are broadcast to all players at once; we do not send messages to individual users. | Firebase generates a messaging token on your device so that Google can deliver notifications to it. We do not collect, store or receive this token, and it is not linked to your identity. |
Firebase processes this data on Google's servers, which may be located outside your country. For details see Privacy and Security in Firebase and the Google Privacy Policy.
4. Notifications
X War can show two kinds of notifications:
- Push notifications, sent through Firebase Cloud Messaging as described in section 3.
- Local notifications, scheduled and shown entirely on your device (for example to remind you that a daily reward is ready). Local notifications do not send any data off your device.
On Android 13 and later and on iOS, the app asks for your permission before showing notifications. You can allow or turn off notifications at any time in your device settings (Android: Settings → Apps → X War → Notifications; iOS: Settings → Notifications → X War). Turning notifications off does not affect gameplay. Uninstalling the app also stops all notifications.
5. App updates
On Android, the app uses Google Play's in-app update service to tell you when a new version is available. This check is handled by Google Play; we do not receive any personal information from it.
6. Information we do not collect
We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, precise location, payment details or messages. The app has no chat and no public profiles. Opponent names shown in the game are computer generated.
7. Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. Data used for advertising, app configuration and notifications is processed by Google (AdMob and Firebase) as our service provider, as described in sections 2 and 3. We may disclose information if required by law.
8. Data retention and deletion
Game data stays on your device until you reset your progress or uninstall the app. Data processed by Google for advertising and by Firebase is retained according to Google's and Firebase's policies. To request deletion of any data associated with you, contact us at the address below.
9. Children
X War is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, please contact us and we will help remove it.
10. Security
Because your game progress stays on your device, it is protected by your device's own security. Communication with Google's ad, Firebase and update services is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS).
11. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in the EEA/UK or the CCPA in California), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the processing of your personal information and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, contact us.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available at this page, with the effective date shown at the top.
