This Privacy Policy explains how the mobile game KnotSolve Rope Puzzle (the “App”), published by Balliram (“we”, “us”), handles information when you use it. We built the App to collect as little information as possible: you can play without creating an account, and we never ask for your name, email address, phone number or contacts.
1. Information stored only on your device
Your game progress is saved on your own device and is not sent to us. This includes your current level, stars, coins, lives, boosters, daily gift and lucky spin status, and your sound and vibration settings. Uninstalling the App or clearing its data deletes this information.
2. Information processed by third-party services
The App uses services provided by Google. These services may collect and process information automatically, as described below and in Google’s own privacy policies. We do not sell your personal information.
Google AdMob (advertising)
The App is free and shows ads through Google AdMob: native ads on some end-of-level screens, full-screen ads between some levels, and optional rewarded video ads that you choose to watch for an in-game reward. To show, measure and protect ads, AdMob may collect:
- your device’s advertising ID (Android advertising ID / AD_ID);
- IP address, and an approximate location derived from it;
- device and app information (model, operating system, language, app version);
- ad interactions (for example, ads viewed or tapped) and diagnostic information.
Ads may be personalised based on this information where the law allows and, in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, only with your consent (see section 4). Learn more: How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
Firebase Cloud Messaging (notifications)
If you allow notifications, the App uses Firebase Cloud Messaging to send you occasional game news, such as reminders about your daily gift. Firebase assigns your device a registration token and processes it, together with basic device information, to deliver notifications. You can turn notifications off at any time in your device settings.
Cloud Firestore (game settings)
When it starts, the App reads a small settings file from Google Cloud Firestore (for example, whether ads are enabled). The App does not store any information about you in Firestore; as with any internet request, Google receives your IP address and technical information needed to answer the request.

We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, files, precise location or payment information. The App has no in-app purchases; coins are earned only inside the game.
4. Your choices and consent
- Ad consent: if you are in the EEA, UK or Switzerland, the App shows Google’s consent message before personalised ads are used. You can review or change your choice at any time in Settings → Ad Privacy Options inside the App.
- Advertising ID: you can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of personalised ads, in your device settings (on most Android devices: Settings → Google → Ads or Settings → Privacy → Ads).
- Notifications: allow or block them when asked, or later in your device settings.
- Game data: use Settings → Reset Progress in the App, or uninstall the App, to delete it.
5. Permissions the App uses
- Internet and network state: to load ads, game settings and notifications.
- Notifications: to show game notifications (Android asks for your permission first).
- Vibration: for optional haptic feedback while playing.
- Advertising ID and ad services: used by Google AdMob as described above.
The App does not use your camera, microphone, contacts, storage or precise location.
6. Children’s privacy
The App is a general-audience puzzle game and is not directed at children under the age of 13. We limit ad content to general-audience ratings, but we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us and we will help remove it.
7. Data retention and security
Game data stays on your device until you reset it or uninstall the App. Information collected by Google is kept according to Google’s retention policies. Communication with Google’s services is encrypted in transit (HTTPS).
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in Europe or the CCPA/CPRA in California), you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal information, and to object to its processing. Because we do not keep personal information on our own servers, most requests are handled directly by Google through the links above. You can also contact us and we will help.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Please check it occasionally.
