- We don't ask for your name, email, contacts, precise location or any account.
- Your game progress stays on your device.
- Levels and game content are downloaded from our Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore) server. This is read-only — we don't upload your progress.
- If you allow notifications, we use Firebase Cloud Messaging and on-device reminders. You can turn them off at any time.
- The free version shows ads from Google AdMob, which uses your device's advertising ID. You can limit this at any time.
- We don't sell your personal information.
1. Who we are
Plank Nuts (package com.plank.nuts) is a puzzle game published by
Balliram ("we", "us"). If you have questions about this policy,

2. Information stored on your device
The game saves the following on your device so it can remember your progress: levels unlocked, stars, coins, boosters, cosmetic items, daily-challenge streak, notification preferences and settings (sound, vibration). This information is never sent to us. It is deleted when you uninstall the app or clear its data.
3. Game content from Cloud Firestore
To give you new levels, events and game settings without an app update, the game downloads content from Google Cloud Firestore, part of Google Firebase. The app only reads this content; it does not upload your progress, scores or personal details to Firestore. Downloaded content may be cached on your device so the game also works offline.
When your device connects to Firebase, Google necessarily receives technical information such as your IP address, device and app information (OS version, app version) and request timestamps. Google uses this to deliver the content, keep the service secure and prevent abuse. We do not use it to identify you.
4. Notifications
Push notifications (Firebase Cloud Messaging). We may send notifications about new levels, events, daily challenges or rewards using Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM). To deliver them, FCM creates a registration token (a random identifier for this app installation, linked to a Firebase installation ID). This token is stored by Google Firebase on our behalf and is used only to send notifications to your device. It does not contain your name, email or phone number.
Local notifications. The game can also schedule reminders directly on your device (for example, "your daily challenge is ready"). These are created and shown entirely on your device — no data is sent to us or any third party to schedule them.
Your control. On Android 13 and newer, the app asks for your permission before showing any notifications. You can say no, and the game works exactly the same. You can change this at any time in your device's Settings › Apps › Plank Nuts › Notifications (or the in-game settings, where available). Notifications are never used to show ads.
5. Advertising (Google AdMob)
The game shows banner, full-screen and optional rewarded video ads from Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, and to prevent fraud, Google may collect and process:

All data sent over the network is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS). Google acts as our service provider (data processor) for Firebase. Google's handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy, Privacy and Security in Firebase and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
7. Your choices and consent
- EEA, UK and Switzerland: the first time you open the game you will see a consent message from Google's User Messaging Platform. You can change your choice at any time with the privacy button on the home screen.
- Android: you can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of personalised ads, in Settings › Privacy › Ads (the exact path depends on your device).
- Notifications: turn them off at any time in your device settings (see section 4).
- Watching rewarded videos is always optional.
8. Other services
The game board is drawn with the Unity game engine. We have not turned on Unity Analytics, Unity Ads or any other Unity data service. We do not use Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics or Firebase Authentication. The app has no sign-in, no social features and no in-app purchases.
9. Children
Plank Nuts is meant for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, contact us and we will help remove it.
10. Data retention and deletion
- Game data stays on your device until you uninstall the app or clear its data.
- FCM registration tokens stop working when you uninstall the app, clear its data or turn off notifications, and are removed by Firebase after a period of inactivity (Google currently treats tokens inactive for 270 days as expired).
- Firestore content is game content only and contains no personal data about you.
- Advertising data is kept by Google according to its retention policies.
Request deletion: email amarj234@gmail.com with the subject "Plank Nuts data deletion". Because we don't have an account system, the simplest way to remove all app data is to uninstall the app. We will answer any deletion request within 30 days.
11. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, UK GDPR, India's DPDP Act or CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or object to the processing of personal information, to withdraw consent, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for targeted advertising. Because we don't hold your personal data ourselves, the fastest way to use these rights is through the choices in sections 4 and 7 and Google's tools. You can also contact us and we'll help. Data may be processed by Google on servers outside your country, under Google's standard safeguards.
12. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Big changes will also be mentioned in the app's release notes.
