In short: Local Chat: Offline AI runs AI models entirely on your device. Your messages, photos and documents are never uploaded, we have no servers or accounts, and the app contains no analytics, advertising or tracking. The internet is used only to download AI models from Hugging Face when you choose to.
Who we are

Information processed on your device
The following stays on your device. We never receive it:
- Conversations: the messages you type and the AI's replies, saved locally so you can return to them.
- Photos and documents you attach: images you choose from your gallery or take with the camera, and text extracted from PDF or text files. They are processed on-device by the AI model; attached images are stored in the app's private storage while the conversation exists.
- Settings: preferences such as theme, assistant mode and generation options.
- Downloaded AI models: model files you download from the model library.
Deleting a conversation removes its messages and attached images. Uninstalling the app deletes all of the above. On iPhone, downloaded models are excluded from iCloud backup. On Android, app backup is disabled.
Information we collect
None. The app has no user accounts, no sign-in, and no servers of our own. It does not include analytics, crash-reporting, advertising or tracking software, and it does not collect device identifiers, location, contacts or usage statistics.
Network access and third parties
The app connects to the internet only when you browse, search for or download AI models. These requests go directly from your device to Hugging Face (huggingface.co), which hosts the model files. Like any web server, Hugging Face receives technical information such as your IP address, the files requested and the time of the request. Your conversations, photos and documents are never sent. Hugging Face's handling of this data is described in its privacy policy.
Chatting with a downloaded model works without any internet connection.

AI-generated content
Replies are produced by AI models running on your device and may be inaccurate, incomplete or inappropriate. Do not rely on them for medical, legal, financial or other professional advice. Models are created by third parties and are provided under their own licenses.
Children's privacy
The app does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13, because it does not collect personal information at all.
Security
Your data stays in the app's private storage on your device, protected by your device's security (screen lock and storage encryption). Because nothing is uploaded, there is no server-side copy that could be exposed.
Your choices
- Delete individual chats from the chat list, or all chats in Settings → Delete all chats.
- Delete downloaded models in Model library → Downloaded.
- Uninstall the app to remove all of its data from your device.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will update the effective date above and publish the new version at this address. Significant changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
