Bottle Games ("the app") is a free casual game made by Balliram ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information the app uses and why. We do not run servers, create accounts or collect personal information ourselves. The app shows ads from Google AdMob, which collects some device information as described below.
1. Information we collect
We (the developer) do not collect, receive or store any personal information. The app does not ask for your name, email, phone number, contacts, photos or precise location, and it does not create accounts.
2. Advertising (Google AdMob)
The app shows banner, native, interstitial and rewarded video ads served by Google AdMob. To show ads, measure them and prevent fraud, Google may collect and process:
- Device identifiers such as the Android advertising ID (or Apple IDFV on iOS)
- IP address, from which an approximate location (country/city) may be inferred
- Device and app information (model, operating system, language, app version)
- Interactions with ads (views, taps) and diagnostic data such as crash and performance information
This data is sent directly from your device to Google and is handled under Google's Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services. We never receive it.
Your choices. If you are in the European Economic Area, the UK or Switzerland, the app asks for your consent before personalised ads are shown, and you can change your choice at any time in Settings > Ad privacy options. Anywhere, you can reset your advertising ID or opt out of personalised ads in your device settings (Android: Settings > Google > Ads; iOS: Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking).
3. Data stored on your device
To remember your progress, the app saves your current level in each game, your game statistics and achievements, your daily challenge progress and streak, and your sound, vibration and daily reminder settings. This information stays on your device and is never sent to us or anyone else. "Reset progress" in Settings deletes all of it except the sound and vibration settings, and uninstalling the app deletes everything.
4. Notifications and permissions
Daily reminders. If you allow notifications, the app shows up to five reminders a day (for example how your daily challenge is going, or which level is next in each game), and a few "come back" reminders if you haven't played for some days. They are scheduled and shown by your device using the progress saved on it. No push notification service is used, and nothing about the reminders is sent to us or anyone else. You can turn them off at any time in Settings > Daily reminders or in your device's notification settings.
Android permissions. The Android app requests:
- Internet and network state, to load ads
- Advertising ID, used by Google AdMob as described above
- Notifications (Android 13 and later ask you first), to show the daily reminders
- Run at startup, so reminders that are already scheduled are restored after your device restarts
- Vibration, used by the reminders; the game's own vibration feedback can be switched off in Settings
On iOS, the app asks for permission before showing any notification. The app does not access your camera, microphone, contacts, photos, files or location.
5. Third-party components
The game is built with Flutter and the Unity engine, and uses 3D characters from Adobe Mixamo; these run on your device and do not send data to us. Ads are provided by Google AdMob (Google LLC), the only third-party service that receives data from the app, as described in section 2.
6. Data security and retention
Data sent to Google for ads is encrypted in transit. Because we hold no personal data, there is nothing for us to delete on request; your on-device progress can be removed with "Reset progress" or by uninstalling the app. Data held by Google is kept and deleted under Google's own policies.
7. Children's privacy
Bottle Games is a casual game for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, contact us and we will help you have it removed.
8. Changes to this policy
If we change how the app handles information, we will update this page and its "last updated" date, and the new version will also be included in the app.
