Danger Hills — Privacy Policy

Who we are

Danger Hills (com.danger.hills) is a game published by Balliram. If you have any question about this policy or your data, contact us at amarj234@gmail.com.

Information we collect

We do not collect personal information. There is no sign-up, login or chat, and we never ask for your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos or precise location.

The game saves your level progress, stars, best score and settings (sound, music, controls) on your device only. This data is never sent to us. Uninstalling the game or clearing its storage deletes it.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

The game is free and shows ads served by Google AdMob, operated by Google LLC. To show, cap and measure ads and to prevent fraud, Google may collect: your device's advertising ID, IP address (which can indicate an approximate location), device and app information, and how you interact with ads.

Where required by law (for example in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, and in some US states), Google's consent form is shown before any ads are requested. You can review or change your choice at any time from "Privacy options" on the home screen when it is shown there.

You can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of personalised ads, in your device settings (Settings › Google › Ads on most Android devices).

Notifications and app configuration (Google Firebase)

We use Google Firebase, operated by Google LLC. Firebase Cloud Messaging assigns this installation a random registration token and installation ID so we can send push notifications (for example new levels or events) to all players. We do not link these IDs to you personally, and we do not send notifications that target individual players.

At startup the game also reads its advertising settings (which ad units to show and how often) from Cloud Firestore. This read does not include any personal information, though Google receives your IP address as part of any network request.

Notifications are optional. On Android 13 and newer the game asks for permission first, and you can turn notifications off at any time in Settings › Apps › Danger Hills › Notifications.

Game engine

The game runs on the Unity engine. We have switched off Unity Analytics and do not use any Unity online services, but the Unity runtime may report limited technical information (such as device model and crashes) to Unity Technologies under their policy: https://unity.com/legal/game-player-and-app-user-privacy-policy

Permissions

Internet and network state: needed to load ads, the ad configuration and notifications.

Notifications (Android 13+): only to show game news you agreed to receive.

Advertising ID: used by Google AdMob as described above.

The game does not use your camera, microphone, contacts, storage or location permissions.

Children

Danger Hills is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the game, contact us and we will help remove it.

Sharing and selling

We do not sell your personal information and we do not share any data with third parties other than the advertising, Firebase and engine providers named above, which process data under their own policies.

Security and retention

Data stored on your device stays there until you uninstall the game or clear its data. Data collected by Google AdMob is kept according to Google's policies.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data and to withdraw consent. Because we do not hold personal data ourselves, you can exercise these rights directly with Google (for advertising data) or contact us at amarj234@gmail.com and we will help.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. When we make a material change, the game will ask you to review and accept the new version before playing.
